Peneda-Geres National Park – Braga

Peneda-Geres National Park, also known as Geres, is the only national park in Portugal despite of having so many surrounding parks in the nation. Geres was built on May 8, 1971 in order to preserve its natural resources. This park is located in the Norte region in the districts of  Braga, Viana do Castelo, and Vila Real.
